Important Update (COVID-19)

At JJ Income Tax Service, the safety and health of our Clients and Employees is our utmost priority. Like you, we are closely monitoring the latest information on the Coronavirus (COVID‐19). We recognize that not all of our clients have had the time to file their returns or have not had the adequate time to gather their documents to complete their tax preparation. In an effort to help minimize the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) our office in Los Angeles will be temporarily closed till further notice, effective 3/18/2020. We are committed to helping each and every one of you during this difficult time and will be standing by to answer questions, or assist with filing your taxes electronically. On Thursday, March 19, 2020 the governor of California, Gavin Newsom issued a "Stay at Home" order demanding all non-essential businesses remain closed to the general public effective immediately and to remain in effect until further notice.

That being said, although our staff wanted to begin taking appointments to serve our clients who prefer to handle tax matters in person, that will no longer be an option. These are unprecedented times and understand that there are many taxpayers who have been scrambling to find the time to get their paperwork in order prior to the April 15, 2020 deadline. Fortunately, the IRS has issued a statement indicating that it will extend the filing deadline for an additional 90 days after the original due date, making the new deadline July 15, 2020.

At this moment, we continue taking phone calls and answering emails to assist taxpayers who wish to file electronically. Thank you for your understanding. We will let everyone know when our office will resume its daily operations.
